We are the leading names in industry we are involved in offering a wide gamut of USB Biometric Readers. The RS485 to TCP/IP Convertor is a 10/100 Mbps Convertor with built-in lightning protection. It has an entry Grommet for the RS 485 receiving socket and TCP/IP OUT on other side. It also has a power input socket. It supports a power supply module having a 220V AC wire plug on one side and a banana pin on the other side which mates into the power socket of the convertor. This supply is 5V DC. In addition to these a Green wire will be emanating out of the convertor. Care should be taken to ensure that this Green wire is connected to a proper EARTH. If this is not done, the entire advantage of having lightning arrestor circuitry on-board is lost.

The EI843-Bio offers high level security by combining leading edge fingerprint scanning technology for secure user verification and authentication. Hence, Access through lost or stolen cards is eliminated. Card holder’s id and fingerprint template is encoded directly into the contact less smart card, which is secured with encryption keys protecting the card holder’s information from being compromised The card holder’s template is read from the card and compared against the live finger, verified for a match and accordingly access granted/denied. The above feature eliminates the need for a database of the templates. The ‘Match on Card’ method improves performance by minimizing verification time and eliminates privacy concerns. The 1:1 ‘match on card’ method eliminates False Acceptance Rates (F.A.R) providing a more accurate result that than to 1: N (1 to many) systems.
